It is perfect for my 2 yr old that is still to small to sit in a regular chair and too big to sit in a traditional high chair. I like how it slides easily and I can adjust the position accordingly to his height. Wish I had bought it earlier! Your kid will sit in a correct position and you can adjust it for every growth stage until adulthood. A lot of my friends are still using it, although their kids now are years old. The Tripp Trapp from Stokke is even better then the Svan highchair because when the kid is old enough to climb, it can easily climb this chair use the extra included gliders for standing safety!!

They give you a 7 year warranty with it! I got the anniversary edition in natural pine colour for I tried to buy a used one, but they also cost at least bucks. I will lend the fitting baby seat from friends, since you'll only need it for a few months and it saves me an additional 50 USD. If you are looking for a high quality product which will last a long time you can inherit it - I highly recommend this product!

November 29, After using those bulky, most of the time not very pretty high chairs for some years it was time for a nice chair that grows with our child. It seems to be very comfortable and our 2 year old loves it. The highchair took less than 2 hours to assemble.

The quality is impressive and the design is great. Our daughter really enjoys it. Highly recommended, especially if you can order it at the sale price.

We got the anniversary edition chair since it was on sale for a great price. The chair is the same wood as the others, BUT I didn't realize the wood is raw it doesn't come varnished. We actually like this chair even better than the other two we had the chrome finish of the hardware looks great too , but I feel the description of the item needs some clarification.

It's easy to clean and it keeps well for many years, looking like new. The solid wood construction means there isn't plastic pieces to replace after a while; there is no staining or discolouring like the other plastic high chair we also bought.

There is no battery to replace and no complicated trays to clip and unclip. I just love its simple and clever design.

If you are into simple Scandinavian design and quality wood construction, you will appreciate this chair. You can purchase the optional fabric seat covers and baby seat attachment. We got the fabric cover in a brown similar to the wood colour and the cotton velvet cover was easy to clean - just toss in the washer and dryer and it comes out looking like new again and again and again - and mine is 13 years old and it still looks new for my 3 year old!

I hope the new covers are as good quality as those I have purchased 13 years ago! My 3 year old is still using it as a high chair and it really is easy to clean and all my friends' kids all want to try it and sit on it when they come. I highly recommend it if you want something that is durable and long lasting. Get it while it's on sale!! The small ones that fit in seats are good but again hard to keep clean and wouldn't allow the chair to be pushed under the table. This one is perfect and I'm disappointed we didn't get with it from the beginning with Prince 1. It's easy to keep clean, fits perfectly under the table like adult chairs and bonus my middle child can climb into it all by himself.

We bought this for Prince 3 with the baby attachment and love it. It's easy to buckle him in and he loves being at the table with the rest of the family. The sitting and foot rest boards are very generous and make this chair very comfortable and ergonomic.

Pros Adjusts to a lot of different positions. So it's a growable custom fit. Cons I removed the arm straps. Now there's the screw hole at the top of the chair.

What a great gift to be able to give, and last throughout the years. I cannot believe how lucky we were to find it at this price on albee baby! It's not difficult to assemble but does require a day to dry after oiling the wood, so plan for that oil is included. The chair is beautiful and clearly high quality. I recommend a cushion for sure, as the hard wood can't be too comfy on its own- at least not for a small child.

The built in harness is easy to adjust and the chair itself is easy to adjust, but does require tools a hex wrench, which is included. My son is autistic and has sensory issues, so we really needed this chair specifically. The ergonomic design and solid footboard make him feel secure, where a normal highchair does not.
